Projekt vznikol na základe analýzy a diskusie v skupine študentov na tému COVID a bubliny v ktorých sa na internete pohybujeme a v ktorých sa prezentujeme. Aj to je slobodná voľba čo chceme a čo nechceme prijímať z toho čo nám internete a algoritmi ponúkajú. Niekto je sám sebou a niekto sa zaujíma o problémy, ktorého trápia a pristupuje k výberu kriticky. Inštalácia má predstavovať sídlisko v každej je inštalácia ktorá predstavuje s bublinu jednotlivých žiakov a ich slobodných rozhodnutí.

The project emerged from analysis and discussion among a group of students regarding COVID and the online “bubbles” we inhabit and present ourselves within. It is a matter of free choice what we accept—or reject—from the content offered to us by the internet and algorithms. Some people simply remain true to themselves, while others focus on issues that concern them and approach their choices critically. The installation represents a housing estate, with each unit featuring a display symbolizing the individual “bubble” of a specific student and their free decisions.

School project on the theme of Sound and Silence

Projekt bol vystavený vo Východoslovenskej galérii v Košiciach a v Budapešti

The students developed a project for an art installation in the space. Pupils about theirs to the project: “Our main idea is to design an old phone that works like interactive object. Its main function consists in a simple gesture-lifting head phones. The moment a person picks it up, they hear a sound. The project works with the idea that sound is not a universal experience. What calms one man it can evoke restlessness, tension or memories in another. That’s why we created more variants of sound processing. The goal is to evoke an emotion through audio, without visual explanation or context.’

SILENT SPACE 2026

School project on the theme of Sound and Silence

Projekt bol vystavený vo Východoslovenskej galérii v Košiciach

The students developed this project in 3D as a proposal for an art installation; they are currently working on the actual installation, constructing it from various materials. The installation features two spaces—two rooms. Regarding their work, the students say: “With this installation, we want to show that the presence or absence of a person completely alters the atmosphere of a space and the meaning of ordinary objects. Here, we do not express sound and silence through hearing, but rather through visual elements—through a sense of order or chaos and the things that surround us.”

Projekt študentov na tému jedlo bol zameraný na dlhú cestu produktov, ktoré prichádzajú niekedy až z druhého konca sveta, na plytvanie a zlé zaobchádzanie s ľuďmi, ktorí často pracujú v neľudských podmienkach.
